My Flying Story

They say that no career passion gets into your blood like that of aviation. You get a pilot to tell you when he/she first started flying or got involved in aviation, and what you get is a love story. I would like to tell you my story, of how I obtained my pilot’s licences. I have been posting some, what you may call, ‘mini blogs’, on social media recently, of how I achieved certain milestones in my flight training career. What I intend on doing, is posting them here, similarly, on my website. I hope you enjoy reading them, and maybe learn a few things along the way as well: what is required of you, in order to complete your pilot’s licence, some of challenges, the highs, the lows etc.

It is a long journey, and a difficult one at that, requiring a large amount of dedication and commitment. But it is certainly a worthwhile endeavour, to take on, should you wish to do so. And the day, you finally earn your wings…Wow!!! Is all I can say. One learns so much more, than merely the theoretical and practical aspects to qualify as either a private, commercial or airline transport pilot. You learn so much about yourself, inside and out, just how far you are willing to push yourself before you give up. If you are willing to give up at all, that is.
