Module 1 - ATG/HTG

Aircraft / Helicopter General or sometimes referred to as Aircraft / Helicopter Technical & General, covers all the mechanical components and different parts to the aircraft and its structures.

This is one of the modules that will be different for fixed-wing (aeroplane) or rotary-wing (helicopter) pilots. There are differences between these two different kinds of aircraft, both in how they operate internally, as well as how they interact aerodynamically with the physical environment around them.

There is however, some overlap between them, and it is important for the pilot to have a thorough understanding of how his or her aircraft works, especially for those individuals who wish to pursuit flight training in both modalities.
